Creamy Tuna Casserole

Recently I was given a fantastic review opportunity by Handi-foil. They were kind enough to send me the huge package of foil pans show above. The set included 14 different pans plus lids. It's awesome! So far I've only made one dish with them, but as the holidays approach I'm sure that I'll be using them all lol

What I made was one of my husband's favorite dishes. It's a creamy tuna casserole. This dish is quick, easy and delicious. The total preparation time is only about 10-15 mins. It's also very easy to change so you can customize it for your family and friends.

  • One 16 oz. package of egg noodles
  • 2 cans of tuna
  • 2 cups of cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 cups of frozen broccoli
  • 2 teaspoons onion salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt/Pepper to taste
While the noodles are boiling take remaining ingredients and mix them together in a medium sized bowl. Like shown below. Make sure to add just enough seasoning to make it taste good without overpowering the rest of the ingredients. Once the noodles are finished cooking, drain them and mix your tuna mixture into the noodles. Place the noodle mixture into your baking dish. I used the roasting pan provided in my kit. Set your oven to 350 degrees and cook for about 25-30 mins, or until is it warm throughout.

Serve this with biscuits, bread or a salad.

If you would like this to be a bit cheesier then simply add another cup or two of cheese to your mix until you reach the cheesiness that you like. You can also substitute cream for the milk to make the dish creamier. Don't be afraid to play around with this recipe to create the perfect meal for your family.

Here is the finished dish. This casserole is very filling so you don't need to eat a pile of it to feel full. I absolutely love dishes like this for the holidays! Anything that can help prevent me from gaining and extra 20 during this time is a very, very good thing! lol
